Building Ping-Pong Routes
Routes with a course that goes forth and back need their tracks to be of type multiuse.
For example, if you have a route that is build from three tracks, all three tracks need to be of type multiuse. You can learn how to enforce this by following these steps:
Create a new document.
Select the track-tool
Click to place the debuting way-point.
Click through the path and double-click to place the end way-point.
Click the last way-point again and then click through the path of the second track. Double click to close the track.
What you've build so far where two tracks, nothing special so far. Now let's create a route that uses these two tracks more than once, meaning they must be of kind muliuse.
Press the new route button.
Select the debuting way-point
Click'a0on the last way-point to directly build a route up to this point.
Click on the first debuting'a0way-point again. TrailRunner will complain that this is not possible.
Click on the track adjacent to the last way-point in the route, the track will now be added.
Do the same with the next adjacent track which will be added too.
Do the same as many times as you want.
Now you have what's called a ping-pong route.
You can also set the multiuse state for a track in the information pane of a selected track.
Then you can use step 3, for the pong.
