Create and import a route using a routing service
Create a route using the OpenStreetMap track network and import the new route and its tracks into your local network of tracks.
Klick on the New Route button in the toolbar.
To view the external track network of the openStreetMap routing service, open document settings (button with the gear icon in the lower left document corner) and change the background map to OpenStreetMap.
Follow the instructions in the route editor.
