Basic tools
You only need a few basic tools to create your network of tracks. You'll find the tools in the lower righthand corner of the main window.
The tools from the left to the right:
Selection-Tool to select and move elements (⌘-drag to move track-points)
Hand-Tool to shift the working-area around (also available in other modes by holding the space-key).
Zoom-Tool to zoom in and out. Also possible are ⌘+ and ⌘-.
Waypoint-Tool to place
Track-Tool to create and measure tracks between way-points (⌘-click splits tracks and creates crossing way-points).
Route-Tool to create and modify routes. Routes are based on tracks.
Tools to manipulate background maps in your document are located behind the Settings button in the lower left corner of the window. The tools available are:
The grid toolset aids in positioning map tiles in the document, such as pin position of all map-tiles, automatic snap-to a grid with a given overlap and a measurement tool to determine a regular overlapping of map tiles.
The rotation tool uses a clever technique to rotate a map tile onto a reference axis imprinted into the map tile.
